In an effort to help University Hospital providers meet the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners requirement for end-of-life care education, the medical staff organization hosted a CME event on May 21, 2019. This standing room only event was attended by over 140 faculty members.

Dr. Michael Jaker invited Lester Thomas Shane to perform Mortal Coil, Voices From The Hospice. “Lester’s performance brought the sense of being present, experiencing these moments, with our patients,”  said Dr. Jaker. “It  was educational and informative, yet very different from the traditional point and click module”
